That’s a wrap!

This month our Chief Scientific Officer, Mark Post, hosted the 5th International Scientific Conference on Cultured Meat.

The event was organised by Maastricht University and was held in the Crowne Plaza. It was a huge success bringing together the brightest minds in the cultured meat movement.

With over 175 people attending it was also the largest so far.

Discussions took place on topics such as how to scale-up cultured meat, analysis of consumer perceptions and behaviour, and a panel on the regulatory process.

Attendees included scientists, industry experts, not-for profit organisations, animal welfare groups, and more. Many noted how it was a fantastic opportunity to meet like-minded individuals, start-ups and entrepreneurs.

Mosa Meat would like to extend an enormous thank you to everyone who attended the event, and an especially big thank you to the sponsors for making the event possible.

We are excited by the growing number of people interested in cultured meat and look forward to what we can achieve as the science progresses.
