Off to Scotland for the OECD...


We were delighted to be invited to the OECD's 11th Rural Development Conference in Edinburgh from 9-12 April.

Our CEO, Peter Verstrate, presented on the "Future of Food" at the OECD's 11th Rural Development Conference. 

This conference brings  together leading policy makers, private sector and renowned experts to exchange experiences and good practices on issues related to innovation in rural areas.

The conference highlighted 10 "key drivers of change". Peter spoke about cultured meat as one of the "Quality of life transformations" predicted for upcoming years.

It's wonderful to see cultured meat receiving attention at such a high level, and to see experts already considering how this technology will positively impact rural areas.
